Is it possible to max out the skills for a bot to see how they behave with and without the skills (and in between)?

you can add this command to the bottom of et_commands.gm. cheats must be enabled for it to work.

Commands["giveskill"] =
{
    Func = function( _params )
    {
        singleBot = null;
        if (_params[0]) {
            singleBot = Util.GetBotByName(_params[0]);
        }

        if (singleBot != null) {
            singleBot.ExecCommand("give skill");
        }
        else {
            foreach (id and bot in BotTable) {
                bot.ExecCommand("give skill");
            }
        }
    },
};

can do /bot giveskill <botname> for a single bot. or no param for all bots.

if you used the OB DMS, open pk3, extract the omnibot.menu file,
out of pk3
go to line QM_MENU_START ("wm_addbots_alt")
add below
QM_MENU_ITEM ("^ 8 9. Warp Bot to Player (^ 7Req Cheats On ^ 8)", exec "bot warpbot"; play "sound / cat / allies / 81b.wav", "9", 8)
this line
QM_MENU_ITEM ("^ 8 0. Give Skill for Bots (^ 7Req Cheats On ^ 8)", exec "bot giveskill", "0", 9)
put the new omnibot.menu in pk3 and save.
Now you can give skill to your bots with the 0 key :P
